From Our House

XmasCards08 006

Here's another version of the card I showed you the other day using a different DP and different color palate on the main image. It's colored the same way, with copics and my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol on the hat.  This looks to be my last post for 2008. I wish you and a truly blessed and spectacular New Year. I pray that this year will be a better year for you all, filled with fabulous projects and good times. Love and Blessings to all my creative sisters out there..

Christmoose Skier

XmasCards08 009

This DCWV DP is so cute and whimsical. The CS is DCWV also. The The main image is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Markers. Don't you just love these little Riley's. I am totally addicted to them. I see new ones come out and my inky little fingers just itch to get them. They are ADORABLE! The sentiment was created on my computer then die cut with my nesties and so was my main image.

Hope your holiday preparations are almost complete. Don't forget to take a little time during this blessed season to reflect on your year and what it has meant to you and on how truly blessed we are to live within the borders of  this great nation. This holidays keep in your prayers all those serving in the armed forces who will be spending this beautiful season  far away from those that they love the most. Their sacrifice makes possible the dream of freedom for millions. May God Bless them and Keep them safe until they return home to those who await them with open arms. And may God Bless you and yours with all the things that fill your heart. I wish you all a Mele Kalikimaka.

Much Aloha,

Michelle

Elegant Snowman

XmasCards08 003

I love this DCWV paper and This image is one of my favorites that I added to my collection this year. How adorable is that snowman and little bird. I made several different cards with this image using different colors and DP. The sentiment I created on my computer and cut out myself. The image is colored with Copics for the most part but the hat is done with colored pencils and Gamsol. Hope you like it...

Bright Riley Wishes

XmasCards08 007

Skiing Riley is too stinkin'  adorable isn't he? This card is whimsical with it's bright non traditional holiday colors. I LOVE this image. The main image is Hanna Stamps and the sentiment is Papertrey. The DP is from my stash so I am not sure who the manufacturer is. I used my nesties to cut out both the main image and the sentiment. I hope your holidays are going well and that you enjoyed this card.

Holiday Cheer!

XmasCards08 005

This is the first in my Christmas series. Every year since I started making my own cards I make about a half dozen cards of different designs to send to our family and friends. Being active duty military many of our friends and family are far away from us so Christmas is the PERFECT time to reconnect with them and find out what's happening with them and let them know what's going on with us. I write family newsletter every Christmas that I enclose in our cards.

Card Deets: The DP is from HL. The card base is Papertrey. The stamps are also Papertrey, Board and Beams and the Home for the Holidays addition. I LOVE these two sets. If I had more time I would have done a gazillion variations of this card. The sentiment is also Papertrey. The image is colored with Copics and The ribbon is Mike's. The background of the main image is stamped with snowflakes in Platinum ink from Versamagic. It's MUCH more visible IRL. I used my nesties to cut out the main image and sentiment.

Congratulations!

Cards 020

Sorry for the inexcusable lack of posts. I just seem to be playing catch up these past few weeks. I am almost back on track though. I have about 1/2 of my 2200 cookies baked and my cards are almost complete. So I beg your indulgence while I get my tasks complete for the holidays. Here's a card I complete before I left to help care for my Papa.  When congrats are in order I couldn't think of a better phrase than "You're the Best". The DP is DCWV. The cardstock is DCWV and GP. The ribbon is Mike's. My main image is colored with Copics and die cut with my nesties. The sentiment is made with my computer and cut out with my marvy punch. The card looks crooked but IRL is isn't. There are so many little moments that don't get recognized but I've found that sometimes it's the little things that can mean the world to those who mean the world to us. So take a minute during this BUSY season to recognize a little things that someone you love has done. I know I will.

Riley's Feel Better Wish

Cards 003

Another Riley image that I JUST LOVE!!!! Poor Riley looks so sad being sick. This is the same look my boys had whenever a bug made them too ill to go out and play. Those sad little faces are burned into my memories. But I'm getting sidetracked which is very easy for me to do since I am feeling the effects of the bug my DH got over the Thanksgiving holiday.Well I'm off to finish up my Christmas Cards..

The Card Deets.:

The main image is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. This is my favorite way to color the Riley's and Sophia's. The feel better is from my Papertrey set. Riley's and Sophia's can be found at Hanna Stamps. The Papertrey can be found HERE! The DP is from HL. The cardstock is from DCWV and GP. The ribbon is from Mike's. I used my nesties to cut everything out.

Blooming with Happiness

Cards 002

I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving. Ours was filled with lots of fabulous friends and family and a ton of food. At this time of year we are reminded of all that we are most thankful for. Please remember to keep our men and women of the Armed Services in your prayers as they are spending their holidays defending all that we hold near and dear to our hearts. Flowers just scream happy to me. I LOVE them, I don't know many girls who don't. The image is from Gina K Designs. The sentiment I created on my computer and printed onto cardstock. The DP is American Crafts. The cardstock is DCWV and GP. The image is colored with Copics and a little Mike's ribbon finishes it off.

Palm Tree Riley

Cards 010

Being from Hawaii I fell in love with this Riley the first time I laid eyes on him.  I love the little coconut trees and the Margarita under the hammock. The phrase "Live Your Bliss" seems to coincide perfectly with this image. The phrase is from my Papertrey Mixed Messages set.  The main image is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. The image and sentiment are cut out with my Nesties. The DP is DCWV and the cardstock are DP and HL.

Soul Bloom

Cards 005

I LOVE this saying. There are always those people in your life that leave you feeling happy with who you are and where you are in life. These are the people this sentiment was created for in my opinion. For me my DH is that person. He always seems to give me what I need. Even if I'm not sure myself what it is. He's even willing to tell me the stuff I don't want to hear. He just wants what's best for me. Now on to my card... The image and sentiment are from Gina K Designs.  The image is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.  I used my nesties to cut out the image and free hand cutting for the sentiment. The new SU! punch was used on the blue strip on the left. The ribbon is Mike's. The DP is from Hobby Lobby. The cardstock is DCWV and GP.

The DP is from Hobby Lobby. The cardstock is DCWV and GP. The ribbon is from the dollar bin at Mike's. I think I bought 5 rolls of it. I love that chocolate brown color and the width is perfect not too thick not too thin. The main image is Cupcakeabella and isn't she ULTRA fabulous! She's perfect for all those Cupcake Girls in your life!!

Dropin' a Line

Cards 008

More love for Riley.. The image is colored with my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. The DP I used is from HL. The cardstock is from HL and GP. The ribbon is from Mike's and the sentiment tag was created on my computer and punched out with my marvy punches. If you have any trouble making straight mats you need to get the Perfect Layers System.  It's a mat, rulers and cutting blade that allow you to make several different sizes of layers. I am so glad I bought this system. I use it on almost every card I make.

I'm BACK!!!!!

Well... I'm back from the land of Aloha.. My Papa is continuing his recovery and I am so glad that I was able to spend that time with him. As for my lack of postings.. I can only plead exhaustion. I took the night shift with my Papa and he seemed to have developed an internal alarm clock that woke him at at around 1:30 am and kept him calling me on and off till about 5:30am. Since I have a hard time sleeping when it's daylight I probably averaged about 2-3 hours of sleep a day for a little over three weeks. I did get 95% of my Christmas Card images colored so now I am just left the task of assembling our cards. I've been back for a few days and sufficiently caught up on my sleep so the posting shall resume promptly today!! Hope you all had a productive November.

Wednesday, November 5, 2008

Well sorry for being a bad bad blogger but my lack of sleep makes it hard to keep my eyes open long enough to do it. Taking care of my Papa has been my privledge but what a daunting task it is. He's trying so hard to recover and gain back what the stroke took from him but he has had a few setbacks along the way. I am so grateful to have this opportunity. Here is a card I made for my aunt who has a love of all things frog. There will be several more coming, he card base is GP. The CS is GP, and CM. The DP is from my scraps pile. The ballons are colored with my spicas and the frog with my colored pencils. The stamps are SU! The ribbon is mike's and the tag punch is SU! I used my perfect layers to mat the main image.

Halloween Treat

Better late than never. I know I said I would try and post something a few days ago but taking care of my grandpa has taken presedence over this. But here is the post I promised. If you email me inquiring about this pattern I can get back to you but it won't be for a few weeks since I'm not home right now.Using a pattern I found at Splitcoast I created these sweet little treats for my friend's daughters. Since my sons are in High School things like this really don't wow them like they used to when they were little. The DP is from Hobby Lobby as is the regular and glitter Cardstock. The stamps are from Just Rite Stampers and SU! The ink is SU! Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black. The ribbon is from Mike's.

I'm HERE!!!

Well after a 14 hour plane ride and some settling in I'm Here! What a joy it is to see my family again. My grandpa is doing better and is a real pistol. He's a firecracker. The Home Health Care therapists are amazed at his recovery speed. He's finally eating regular food a few times a day. We are having a great time. I'll try and add a post tomorrow with a new card. I even got to hold my God-Daughter for the first time since she was born in June. I'll tell I think that she has got to be the CUTEST little thing ever!! Well must be going..

Leavin on a Jet Plane.......

Three weeks ago my beloved Grandfather had a massive stroke and is in the process of recovering. Stroke recovery is a LONG process and although he is making a lot of progress the road has not been easy it's been full of two steps forward and one step back days.  I will be taking my turn at helping out and taking care of my Grandfather for about three weeks. I am looking forward to being home with my grandparents but I am sad to be going for this kind of thing.  I wanted to add this blurb to my blog to talk about Stroke awareness. Stroke are deadly and quick. In a matter of a few minutes my grandfather went from an 87 year old man who could still mow his 1/2 acre lawn and repair his own car to a man that needed round the clock care and a feeding tube. Strokes are PREVENTABLE! Please visit the THIS SITE to educate yourself about stroke prevention. I think that you'll be AMAZED at how susceptible your loved ones are to strokes and the EASY things that can be done to prevent them.

Take A Break

Cards 016

Many times I make cards and leave the sentiments off until I need the card. Then I can tailor it to suit my needs. This one, even though it has the "take a break", has not main sentiment and I can create the card I need. The main image is colored with Copics and cut out with my nesties. The ribbon is from my Mike's stash. You'd be surprised what you can find in the dollar bin at Mike's.

Pamper Yourself

Cards 007

Another Riley card for your viewing pleasure. The DP is from DCWV and the cardstock is both GP and HL. The phrase I created on my computer and punched it out with my SU! punch. The main image is colored with my Copics and my Prismacolor Markers. A little ribbon accents my phrase.

Another MFT Break

Cards 002

This MFT stamps is fast becoming one of my favorites. I am definitely going to have to add the others like it to my collection. I kept this one simple. A few dew drops and a splash of ribbon and it's all she wrote. Many of my cards are simple. I have a simple style when it comes to card making. I love the clean look. You won't find very many cluttered cards here. I think this is a lesson learned from my early scrapbooking days. My first pages were extremely busy and as I continued on my style became simpler and I let my pictures be the focus not the decoration. In my cards my thought is to let my message be the star. Because to me that is the most important part. The DP is HL. The image is MFT. I used my nesties to cut out the image and background. Dew drops dot the corners. My image is colored with Copics and my Mike's ribbon completes the card.

Riley Thanks

Cards 017

Sorry about the crooked photo. It's been a long few weeks. The image is from Hanna Stamps. It's colored with my Copics and I cut it out with my Nesties. The DP is HL. The cardstock is GP and DCWV. The little ribbon accent is Mike's.  I love this image. I love all the Riley's and Sophia's. They are just adorable. This one just makes me feel relaxed. I love coloring my images it's the part of this craft that soothes me. Give me a container of markers and a few images and I am a happy girl. Hope you like the card...

Cheers to You... Take a Break!

Cards 022

I Love this image.. You can find it HERE! The sentiment is of course from Stampin Up! and you can buy them HERE! I used my SU! ink also. The ribbon I got at Mike's. My main image is colored with copics and cute out with my nesties. I hope you like it!  Birthday's are special days, I am always thrilled to celebrate my husbands birthday and my children's way more than my own. I look at my husbands birthday celebration as recognizing the day God placed the person he made especially for me on this earth. I celebrate that years ago he created him and sent him down especially for me on that day. And of course celebrating my sons birthday's because those two days were miracles for me.  Life is so much more spectacular when you have moved ones to share it with and having these two that bring all things into my life is nothing short of amazing.

I'm Not a Quitter!

Cards 021

If there's one thing I'll never quit, it's chocolate. Chocolate makes the world a happier place don't cha think? The DP is from Target the image is Stampendous and I purchased it at my LSS. It's colored with Copics and matted using my perfect layers system. It's a simple quick cute card to give someone who needs a lift. Isn't this image delectable?  Everything in it looks YUMMY!  I saw the sentiment somewhere and it totally fits me, "I'd give up chocolate but I'm not a quitter." I think this is my life's motto. Chocolate and I have a forever love. hee hee hee..

Fishin' Riley

Cards 009

There are several friends of our who consider fishing bliss and I made this card with them in mind. My DH is among them. I don't have the patience for fishing but used to go along on family outings when the boys were younger to help out. Now that they are older I am more than happy to stay home and stamp or scrapbook rather than bait hooks and touch slippery fish. Moving on the the card details.. The DP is DCWV. The cardstock is HL, GP and DCWV. The main image is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. My nesties were used to cut out the image and sentiment.  Check out the line of Riley's and Sophia's at Hanna Stamps. You could find so much to love there.

In My Thoughts

Cards 019

I love this sentiment.. "You're in my thoughts today" . But I am unhappy with the  placement of it. It's lost in the leaves. But I am in love with this tree. The DP is DCWV. The cardstock is DCWV and GP. The ribbon is Mike's.  The image is of course Papertrey. I wanted something clean and simple for the guys in our lives. We are so fortunate to have some tremendous people to call our family and friends. Our sons both have tremendous Grandparents and Godparents, not to mention the countless aunts , uncles, cousins and friends. I always try to have cards on hand for our kids to send out to the people that matter to them.

Wise Owl meets Out on a Limb

Cards 012

I'm not sure that I am feeling this card at all. I like to color my images close to what they look like for real but try to add a splash of color with a brighter belly. The stamps are all available at Papertrey. If you haven't already discovered in Papertrey run over there and you'll find clear stamp nirvana. They have a fabulous style with a few surprises thrown in to keep everyone coming back month after month. The sets I used for this card were Out on a Limb, Wise Owls and the Out on a Limb additional set.  The inks were Versamagic and SU! and my cutie pie owlie was colored with my Copic markers.

Papertrey Meets MFT

Cards 011

I love these MFT images. The flower filled tubs are so versatile. You can use them for so many occasions. I used  a DP scrap I had for the background.  The sentiment tag was created with my Papertrey set Mixed Messages and my Nesties.  The main image was colored with my Copics.  I used my nesties to cut out the main image and also to mat it.  A little mike's ribbon finishes off my tag.

Chamomile Thoughts

Cards 006

I love these stamps that MFT carries. They are perfect for just about any kind of card. You can use them for a dozen different things. The main image is colored with my Copics, except for the Fleur de Lis that is colored with an irridescent marker I got at Office Max.  I used my perfect layers system to mat my main image. The flowers stamped in the circles are from my papertrey collection and so is the sentiment stamped in the bottom right corner. There's a dab of stickles for sparkle in each of the flowers centers. I used SU! new punch to create the scallop border.

MFT's Take a Break

Cards 001

I think the DCWV Retro Pack is one of my favorites. Pairing it with my nesties and Primas are a perfect match for me. I love The browns when paired with both blues and pinks. They are my favorite color combinations. Sorry about the crooked photo. The prima centers are dotted with Stickles to add a little sparkle. My image is colored with Copics.

Youth is a Gift

Cards 014

"Youth is a gift of nature but age is a work of art." As I get older I appreciate that sentiment more and more. But I haven't had to look very far in my lifetime to see how true this statement is. DH and I are fortunate enough to have all of our Grandmother's still blessing our lives. We are lucky to have them they bring joy to our lives in ways that we could have never imagined and we are all the better for having them.  In the next few weeks I will be traveling to Hawaii to take care of my maternal Grandfather who suffered a massive stroke a few weeks ago. My Papa is a work of art. I am so thrilled and blessed to be able to return home and give back the tiniest fraction of what he has given me over my lifetime so far.  I am truly blessed to have this opportunity and thrilled to be going home to be with them when they need me. I hope that you enjoy the card.

Relax with Riley

Cards 006

Riley's relaxing and encouraging you to do the same with this card.  I just adore the Riley and Sophia collection and I am so happy to see there are new ones on the way... Woo Hoo !! Aren't you excited? I used the making memories DP for my background.  I used HL and GP cardstock. My image is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. The ribbon is from Mike's. I used a little blue dew drop to accent my sentiment.  Check out the Hanna Stamps web site to link to her blog and enter to win all the new Riley's her design team is giving away.

JustRite Coffee Gifty

JustRiteEntries 006 JustRiteEntries 009

This is another addition to our gift basket. Merry Mochachino is one of my favorites and personalizing with the JustRite made this nifty gifty  quick and easy to create. The coffee mug stamp in the middle is from a SU! set.  I love my Just Rite. I can't stress enough how exciting it is to be able to personalize my gifties. I am dying to get my Baking and Christmas Ensembles. They are on order and I can't wait to get them. I used my nesties to cut things out. My long rectangles and my circles were the ones I chose. I got the recipe for the Merry Mochachino from a Gooseberry Patch book. If you own their books RUN and get yourself one of these Just Rite Stampers. You can find them here! I think the front is a little plain though so I am dreaming up ways to jazz it up.. After all it is missing my trademark sparkle and glitz.. You know how I love my stickles.

Images like this one keep me coming back to my Sistahs at Stamping Bella for all my Bella needs. The DP is Making Memories. The CS is HL & GP. The image is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Markers. Craveabella is a must have for anyone with pregnant friends. She is FABULOUS!!

Gina K Designs has many wonderful stamp sets, but this image is one of my favorites. I wish it were bigger though. What a beautiful pot of flowers. I love this image and keep it ready stamped in my folder to pull out and color when needed. The DP is DCWV and comes already glittered (YEAH!!!) If you don't own this set.. you should get it. Biggest Blog Candy EVER!!!

Cammie King, ULTRA fabulous designer for Gina K Designs is giving away the MOST amazing blog candy(here) you have ever seen. Cammie's  life was touched by Alzheimer's and she wanted to find a way to give back to those on the from line of care for these patients, their caregivers. Cammie is right in saying that they are the most unrecognized group. Caregivers who watch over our loved ones and treat them while they walk through the unknown as they continue their journey on this earth. While I don't have a loved one who suffers from Alzheimer's I have a very beloved Grandfather who had a stroke a few weeks ago whose life was profoundly changed by this stroke. He requires constant care. My mom is their oldest daughter and when he had his stroke all of the children who don't live there rushed home to help. My uncles are remodeling the house for my Papa's new reality of necessary care and the Aunts along with my mom and dad(whose a nurse) are helping care for Papa whose in the hospital. Not everyone is able to step in and fulfill that but when you can't it really gives peace of mind to know that someone out there is willing to care for your loved ones as you would and sometimes better because their not personally vested in the patient. Go HERE!!! and find out how to enter for the MOST amazing blog candy that you have ever seen. Cammie's rules are specific so please follow them to the letter. She is so proud of this project. Help her make is a HUGE success in the way that matters most to her.. Send those cards to the caregivers!!!  I urge you to support Cammie's efforts. You have no idea how happy a little thank you can make someone. Remember you can go HERE!! to find directions.

JustRite Christmas Gifty 2

JustRiteEntries 007 JustRiteEntries 008

One of our most loved additions to our gift baskets is the Peppermint Cocoa. I found these cute bottles at world market. We usually fill a piping bag with this mix and tie it off with the Peppermint Ribbon. The center stamps are papertrey the rest is JustRite. The ink is Pure Poppy and Old Olive. The card stock is GP and DCWV. This Cocoa is so yummy and your house smells wonderful when you make up a whole pot of this, both mint and chocolate. YUM-O as Rachel Ray would say. The only difficult part of this recipe is crushing the peppermints. E-mail me if you would like the recipe.

JustRite Cookie Catcher

JustRiteEntries 002 JustRiteEntries 003

Since I was a young girl every year at Christmas our house goes into a cookie making FRENZY. It is one of my fondest memories as a kid. My mom, dad, any family friends who wanted to join, and I all gathered in the weekends before Christmas to bake cookies. Even though I have two sons I have carried this tradition on with my children and my husband.  Last year we made about 2500+ cookies to give to family friends and co-workers. From large trays to take-out boxes I filled container after container with cookies. This is one of the containers we will be using to package our home made goodies in. I can't wait to get my new Just Rite Baking ensemble and Christmas Ensemble and start creating my packages for this year. Between those two things and my Cricut I think I may be able to create my own packaging, at least for the smaller gifties.  The take out box was one I got last year after Christmas for pennies. The cute little topper personalizes it perfectly. Again the JustRite stamper to the rescue. LOVE IT!!!

First Aid Done JustRite

JustRiteEntries 003

This is my take on an Altoid tin creation. Whenever we head out to theme or water parks over the summer we inevitably have scrapes and scratches from various things. Clumsy, maybe but it never fails we tend to injure ourselves at the most inopportune times, whenever I leave my band-aids behind. I created this little cutie to carry around my band-aids and Neosporin and other incidentals like Tylenol ect.. Yes theme parks tend to give me a headache.

Eloise's JustRite Birthday Wishes

JustRiteEntries 002

Eloise is probably one of my favorite bellas. I can't even begin to tell you how much I adore her. She is my go to image when it comes to little girls cards. I am stamping several sheets of her to create several dozen cards for the Keiki Cards site. She is colored with my Copics and cut out with my nesties. I used my JustRite to add a personal message and monogram. Of course her wings are sparkled and glitzed with Stickles. The DP is from HL. I adore Eloise and JustRite using them together is a blast.

JustRite Truffle Caddy

JustRiteEntries 004

To our closest family friends we give goody baskets. These cute little boxes are finished off with the amazing JustRite touch and will make an adorable addition to those baskets.  I think that the things most remember about the holidays are the personal touches you put on your celebrations and gifts. Everyone who knows us knows how much time we put into making Christmas a really special time. This being our oldest sons senior year it becomes an even more special time because next Christmas he may be spending elsewhere. I greet everything this year with mixed emotions. I am so thankful that he is progressing toward adulthood yet I long for my cherub cheeked little boy. I often find myself looking at him with tearful eyes as I watch his journey into manhood. I feel so blessed (most times, sometimes I just want to pull out my hair ha ha) to be a part of it.

So,  run don't walk over to their Site to get yours.. You will be so glad you did..  The DP is from HL as is the pink and brown card stock. The white CS is GP. Another great feature of this stamper is how you can use phrasing from other languages to personalize your cards. I am from Hawaii and my husband is from Puerto Rico. We send cards all over the world. Being active duty military we have friends scattered all over and friends of many different ethnicity's. This is a card I created with the phrasing that wishes you a "Merry Christmas" in Hawaiian and our monogram in the middle. This was another JustRite winner for me. I used my nesties and perfect layers to create the matting.  The ink is Pure Poppy from Papertrey. The image is of course Stamping Bella. She was colored with Prismacolor markers and her hat and boots were accented with puff paint. The DP is from a DCWV Christmas Pack.  The cardstock is GP and HL.

Hurricane Ike and a Call to Help!

Well, I can say that here in San Antonio, by the grace of God, have come through Ike without a scratch. Not even a drop of rain has fallen here at our house. But, I am afraid that our neighbors to the east have not faired so well. Apparently Galveston Island, Houston and Louisiana took the hardest hit. Please keep them in your prayers and if you are a person of means please consider donating to the American Red Cross. They are still recovering from the cost of Gustav and rushing to help those in east Texas and west Louisiana. Millions there are without power. They are also asking for blood donors. If you are able to please support this tireless effort of the American Red Cross. Our fellow citizens need us.

JustRite Recipes

JustRiteEntries 001

My grandmother is the queen of the kitchen and she has the most amazing collection of recipes. She even has a cookbook published in 1921. Many of my childhood memories are wrapped around dishes at the kitchen table in my grandparents kitchen. Our family has gathered in that kitchen for 40+ years. My grandmother is still a collector of recipes she loves to find new ones and writes them all down in her handwriting. She even writes out extra copies for my mom and aunts. Some of my most treasured possessions are the recipes I have in my grandmothers writing.  I created  these for her to be able to write her recipes down on. The GG stands for great grandma. It's the nickname that my kids generation calls my grandmother. The card bases are Martha Stewart and the ink is SU! Cool Caribbean (LOVE that color!) and of course I used my JustRite to create the wording and center. I can't tell you how much I LOVE my JustRite.

More JustRite Stationery

JustRiteEntries 004 JustRiteEntries 005

More stationery created with that ultra amazing JustRite stamper. It is AMAZING!!! I just love brown with both blue and pink. I think they are classic and timeless. Not surprising then that I should turn to these two color combos to create my stationery with is it? I tried to make these a little more masculine since I included both DH and I in the monogram. The paper is from the AWESOME DCWV Retro pack and the card stock is DCWV, GP, CM and HL. The rub-on thanks are K & Company.  I used the new SU! punch and my Marvy punches to create the decorative edges. And threw in a few dew drops for fun.

The ribbon is mike's I used my nesties and 1 3/4 inch punch to create the circle tags. Stamped with Berry Sorbet, Pretty in Pink, and Chocolate Chip.

Schlitterbahn Jonnell 018

Another adorable animal from Rupa. Isn't this giraffe fab? I am so lovin' these animals. They are too cute and you can use them for both masculine and feminine cards. Just peeking in on you is a little phrase that comes to mind when I look at this image. I colored this image with my Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. I used my special release papertrey set for my sentiment. The DP is from HL. The CS is from HL, GP. The ink is Chocolate Chip, Toile Pink, Basic Black. The pink cardstock is part of  a shimmery pack I got at wal-mart. The 12x12 pack was only $4.95.
