Don't you just love this little dress from Rupa's set? It is perfect for using up your little scraps of  DP. I went dipping into my DP reserve. The Cardstock is CM, GP and DCWV. My nesties were used to cut everything out. I used Copics to color my image.  The "feel better" sentiment is from the Papertrey set  Mixed Messages and was stamped with Papertrey's Berry Sorbet.

Cupcake Wishes.. Birthday Dreams

DSC01476

Cupcakeabella is one of my absolute favorite Bellas. She is too stinkin cute!!.  I saw a card somewhere where they had left the dress white and colored the trim and bubbles like I did here and I thought it was striking.  I think that the dew drops may have been too much here. But I LOVE them so I use them when I can. The sentiment I created from Robin Leeches Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Corny I know! The DP is from Hobby Lobby. The cardstock is GP and DCWV. The main image is colored with Copics and cut out with my nesties.

More Under the Weather Riley..

DSC01472

Isn't sick Riley adorable. Until the Riley/ Sophia line I never knew Moose were so adorable. Poor Riley he's under the weather and makes the perfect card for a sick friend. The DP is from Hobby Lobby the Ribbon is from Mike's dollar spot. The scalloped edge is from SU!'s new scallop punch that I borrowed from my friend Jen. My perfect layers was used to make the mat around the main image which was colored with Copics and cut out with my Nesties. The dew drops are my added bling to the card. The ones on the footboard of the bed are the ones that were on clearance at Mike's. The one on the sentiment are the actual dew drops. I used a Mojo Monday sketch to create this card.

Doesn't that phrase say it all?  This too cute Moose could be either Riley or Sophia.. don't act surprised.. knitting isn't only for girls.. I used Taylor's TECC#26 as my basis for this card. The card base is CM as is the yellow cardstock. The dews drops are a little something to pop some color there. The DP is from my scrap box. Teachabella for a Special Friend!

Notepads 002

Teachabella is the perfect compliment to this little notebook I made for my Neighbor who's a teacher. I think I have to change the hair though she's more of a Sandy blonde. With the new school year fast approaching I'm sure she will have many a to do list to complete before she's ready. The CS is Hobby Lobby and GP. The DP is Making Memories. The "to do list" is made with my Papertrey Simple Alphabet and my nesties. I added some bling to make it pop. Hopefully she likes it. Sorry the picture is funky.. I'm not sure how to work some of my software (computer challenged here).

Papertrey Style!

DSC01474

Papertrey DP is spectacular isn't it. It was such a small piece left over from another project but it's such fabulous DP that I saved it. Look where saving gets you! I made this GORGEOUS dress with that tiny piece. The sentiment is from Rupa's set as is the image of the dress. The DP is from DWCV. The cardstock is GP and CM.  I used my papertrey ink Spring Moss to stamp the sentiment. My nesties were used to cut everything out.

Martha Stewart Riley

DSC01471

Or maybe she's the Taylor Van Bruggen Riley. Taylor is after all the cupcake queen. The DP is hobby lobby. The sentiment is MFT. The flower is chipboard with a bling center. The image was colored with copics. The ribbon is mike's. The main image and it's mat were cut with my nesties. The scalloped edge was made with the new SU! punch I used a tiny hole punch to make the holes in the scallops. I made this card for my stash of cards. I am trying to be better about keeping in touch with my long distance friends. It's funny how you can be so dependant on a person and miles of distance kind of pull you apart.  I have a core group of friends that I LOVE like family and have let distance get in the way but I am going to be better because they mean enough to me to try. I encourage all of you with stashes of cards to do the same. Don't let those beautiful cards go to waste. Send them to someone who has affected you, even if it is in a small way. You never know maybe that card that you lovingly made will make someone's day instead of just collecting dust.

Monogrammed Goodness

DSC01475

OK I know I am not the only one out there who loves the Just Rite Stamper's Monograms.. I can't  believe the fabulous things you can create with it. I am making several different things right now and this is one that I made for me and DH. Of course I made it before I learned on the Just Rite Blog that the wife's initial comes first. I always thought it was the husbands.. Anyway I plan to make several different cards with these on them. Of course those to follow will be correctly monogrammed. So keep watching.  I used the Mojo Monday Sketch #48 to complete this card. I wanted to make these to keep in my file so that I can send little notes.  The DP is from Hobby Lobby. The cardstock is DCWV and GP. The ink is Palette Noir. The ribbon is Mike's.

Under the Weather?

DSC01469

Don't you just love this Making Memories DP?  If I had a baby girl I'd want to wallpaper the nursery in this paper. I wonder if there's anyone out there who decoupaged their walls in scrapbooking paper? Really would be over the top don't ya think? The ribbon is from Mike's by the yard section. The image is colored with copics and cut out with my nesties. The dew drop helps to draw you eye to the sentiment. The sentiment was typed on my computer and cut out with my SU! punch.

Walking Baby Riley

DSC01468

My cousin and his wife just had their first baby. What a little bundle of joy she is!! She is most definitely "Heaven Scent".. and I am going to be her Godmother!!! They asked yesterday (what a nice birthday surprise). I made this card to send to them to thank them for the photo they sent me of her. She is GORGEOUS!!! She looks just like her daddy when he was a baby. He was a beautiful baby BTW. Now to the card, the DP is from my scrap pile. The main image is colored with copics and die cute with my nesties. The sentiment and tiny bunny are papertrey as is the inks used to stamp them. The ribbon is Mike's. I thought the card needed a little something so I added that double ribbon corner.

The DP is DCWV I believe. The cardstock is DCWV and Georgia Pacific. The sentiment is cut with my Petite Oval Nesties. My main image is colored with copics.

Driving by...

DSC01473

Driving by with a birthday hi! What an appropriate sentiment for this image don't ya think? The flowery DP is from Target's stationery section the red present DP is from an old Christmas pack. . The scallop is made with the new scallop punch from SU! My friend Jen was kind enough to share her AMAZING new toy. It's a real must have for any stamper. Isn't it FABULOUS!! As soon as it's available RUN don't walk to your nearest stampin up demo and get one. It's fantastic. The dew drops are an extra embellishment as are the stickle dots in the scallops. Of course my SU! window punch was used to cut out the sentiments. I used SC 185  as my sketch for this card.

Happy B-Day to Me!!!

Well, today is my BIG day.. I turned 38 TODAY.. AS a birthday present I was hoping to have DH home from training but it didn't work out.  No orders yet.  We did however find out that my youngest doesn't need surgery (THANK THE LORD!) his bone seems to be healing well with only minor swelling and edema in the marrow. The Orthopedic doctor said that you can't even see the fracture line on the bone. So what a great birthday present for me. My boys surprised me with STAMPS for my birthday.. I got Melanie's Jumping for Joy set and three others.. Boy am I a happy girl. If only DH were here to share my day. Oh well, gotta keep my big girl dainties on until he gets back. Happy Birthday to all you fellow August babies out there!!

Winter Wishes..

DSC01464

I create winter wishes for all of our friends who don't celebrate Christmas like we do.. I love looking at snow but I really am foreign to it. Being a Hawaii baby snow is not in my repertoire. The DP is from Hobby Lobby. The cardstock is CM and DCVW. I used my petite oval nesties to create the sentiment Mojo Monday #47 was the sketch I used to create this card. I am in love with it. I am not really a layers person and 9 layers is rare in my cards. But I just LOVE how this one turned out. The main image is Hanna stamps and the sentiment is from the Mailbox Greetings set from Papertrey.

Gina K's

DSC01220

The Comfort & Peace set by Gina K Designs is beautiful. I used the WSC53 to map out this card. The card base is K & Company. The flower is silk. The ribbon is Mike's. The cardstock is DCWV. I used Versamagic inks for the image. The brad in the flower's center is Making Memories. My oval nesties were used to cut out my main image and its backer. I purposefully left the sentiment off so that I could use this card for whatever occasion that arises.

TECC#20

DSC01463

Another card I made for Melanie's challenge a few weeks ago. It didn't photograph well not sure why. I used my Nesties, some dew drops and my slot punch. I added a black detail line to distinguish the different DP's. The image is colored with Copic and Spica. The sentiment was created on my computer then punched out.  How cute is Melanie's bunny? You should see the fabulous new set she has with Tee's. You can find Melanie's stamps HERE!

SC184

DSC01462

My dollar stamp, nesties, slot punch and a little DP was all I used to create this simple card. I love using black and white with a punch of color. SC184 was the inspiration for the simple masterpiece.
