Well.. I'm don't know why but my scheduled posts didn't post like they were suppose to do. Not sure why or what happened though. But I'm back and since I had to leave unexpectedly for my Grandfather's funeral I am behind in several projects that I had scheduled for the past week. My grandfather's funeral was unbelievably hard to go through. It is a lengthy process in Puerto Rico. There are two days of viewing and then the funeral mass then the day after he was interred the Novena begins. It's nine days of prayers for my grandfather and the acceptance of his soul into heaven. My grandfather, while he had his faults, was a remarkable and funny man. He was a retired school principal of over 30 years. He was funny, kind and could cook a mean pernil (for those who aren't familiar with Puerto Rican cooking it's a roast leg of pork) YUM YUM YUM!!! He is survived by his wife, three children, two daughter in laws, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren six brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. His memory will be treasured and missed by all of us. He was a remarkable man with many friends and we are all the better having shared our moments and lives with him.
